Caroline Szymanski

Social neuroscience

Caroline Szymanski is our social neuroscientist. She just finished her PhD on the neural basis of good teamwork at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and the Max Planck Institute of Human Development. Caroline’s research has been published in several scientific journals and she now focuses on transferring her findings on successful teamwork from neuroscience research into the corporate world. Caroline has been a member of the teaching team at HPI School of Design Thinking since 2012 (https://hpi.de/en/school-of-design-thinking/hpi-d-school/coaches/caroline-szymanski.html) and during her position in project management at the HPI School of Design Thinking she has guided various companies, institutions and NGOs through the Design Thinking process. Caroline is also a guest professor at the HarbourSpace University in Barcelona.
